Rachael + Eric // Rochester Wedding

Amazing weekend to wrap up the season. Eric and Rachael's wedding started at the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica. Afterwards we headed to one of my favorite venues, the Royal Park Hotel. Awesome couple, bridal party and what a night.

And I learned a Michigan State tradition, snorkeling. Fill a Red Bull with a vodka shot and shotgun it....

Ann + David // Detroit Wedding

I remember visiting Cliff Bell's back in the day to enjoy a nice drink and listen to some jazz music.

Coming back to this place to photograph Ann and David's wedding reception there was a great honor to me. For a Michigan October it was an amazing sunny day.

This was a special wedding to me because it brought me back to the place where I got married, Fox Hills Golf Course in Plymouth. Beautiful fall weather and awesome bridal party made the day go by way too fast.

Sarah + Zack // South Haven Engagement

I don't always get a chance to photograph at a barn that often. Having an opportunity to shoot at one and combine the trip with a vacation at the lake in South Haven was perfect. This barn is a special place for Zack, he grew up there.

Patty + Chris // Troy Wedding

Patty and Chris share a unique love story. Patty is from Canada and Chris is from the US. Their love found each other across borders to celebrate their wedding on a beautiful summer day in Michigan. Fun bridal party, 90 degrees in Michigan and the dance floor at the reception was on fire because of the 'one man out' band!

Adam + Britany // Rochester Wedding Photographers

After a week of rain the sky cleared up for this intimate wedding at the royal park hotel. It was a fun day filled with laughter and emotions. The best surprise for the guests was the Star Wars inspired processional and recessional music. Adam and Britany are both into cross-fit. That was their wedding theme with references to various cross-fit exercises.

Amanda + Garth // Detroit Wedding Photographers

One of the biggest storms was about to hit Detroit while getting ready at the hotel. Luckily the storm stopped at the right time for the first look and pre-ceremony pictures. Amanda and Garth are such a sweet couple. I had a blast shooting their wedding and wish them all the best for their future as husband and wife. I also have to mention that Garth, a fellow artist, designed the most amazing cake topper I have ever seen!

Detroit Engagement Photographer // Allison + Wes

Walking around Eastern Market in Detroit after hours is an interesting experience. Usually it is packed with people, stands and all kinds of things. I thinks it is better that way because Allison and Wes could enjoy the awesome murals around the market to its full potential.
